Kanha Tiger Reserve - 7th Bird Survey

WNC, Indore with the support from forest department at Kanha Tiger Reserve has completed the 7th bird survey from 13th -16th june 2024. FD KTR Shri Sk singh and DD core Shri Puneet Goyal concluded the event and rewarded every participants with a certificate. Survey saw participation of 83 volunteers from 15 different states. Along with the usual scientific survey activity 150 torch were donated for the forest guards and chaukidars as a part of welfare activity.

Some initial highlights of the survey : which are yet to be analysed are- Brown wood owl, Emrald dove, Fork tail drongo cuckoo, Banded bay cuckoo, Bronze drongo, Spot bellied eagle owl.
